Why Don't These Companies Have PE Ratios and Dividend Yield Ratios?

by mark
(gilbert,az, usa)

I am looking into investing in gold stock after the 1st of the year & have been getting leads from WallStreetBuzz news letter, but the summaries all show no P/E and less than .1 EPS & no dividend or yield info.

Why is this? When I look at established companies , all that info is available
Are they to new or ????

Look at sila--alto--flpc

It seems to me that these are all stocks in companies that aren’t making any money overall. If they aren’t making any money they can’t have a PE ratio and certainly can’t pay out a dividend to their investors (dividends have to come from net profits).

I’m not much for investing into companies on the verge of bankruptcy so I try to avoid penny stocks.

Shawn I don't think they are in bankruptcy, I think they are start up -exploration companies, when I look at the historical prices , they don't go back much past 4 to 6 months , but this news letter fellow thinks they will be a great investment long term. I want to use the fundemental method but dont have much to go on

They could be new, but it seems like they are not making any money based on their EPS which is in the negatives from what I saw.

I've just never been a fan of penny stocks myself. But that's just me. if you do invest into them good luck and realize that there is risk involved. So plan accordingly.
