when mines enter production

by rcossette
(canada)

I hold stock in a Canadian mining company that has yet to enter production which seems to be 18 months to two years away. The final steps in preparing the site are underway. All things being equal will the stock price rise significantly once production begins?

We’ll see. That is all I can really say here. There are just so many variables.

If the company strikes it big and starts pulling a lot of money out of the mines then it probably will. However you have to realize that the market is a forward thinking object. People are already expecting it to make money so the stock is already being priced with that expectation in mine.
