Getting into a Stock Pullback

Getting into a stock pullback can be great if it works. But if it doesn’t, well let’s just say you’d better have a stop in place to limit your loss.

Whenever you decide to buy a stock on the dip you should look at 3 different things.

1. Is the stock near support? If you are not buying a stock near support chances are it will still drop a lot even if it is fundamentally strong. Support is the best area to buy falling stocks, by far.

2. Look for candlestick patterns. One of the best and most looked at ways of buying stocks towards a bottom is candlestick patterns. Ideally you only want to bottom pick a stock when you have a candlestick pattern appearing.

3. Know Thy exit. Most people when buying a stock pullback simply buy it with no plan of what they want to accomplish. Before you enter it you should know, where you will get out if you are right and where you will get out if you are wrong.

These three things will help you drastically when trying to pick strong stocks that have just pulled back and are looking like they will go up.
