Are there any statistics on the dow or s&p stating what the odds are that they will close up or down more than so many days in a row.

Not that I know of, but from what I think, having 1 week or so were everyday moves in the same direction is somewhat unusual. Two weeks of every day being the same is extremely rare, and any more then that is almost unheard of.

Normally if a stock is trending either up or down they will stop and cool down after a couple days. But I don’t know what the exact statistics on it would be.
