Should I pull out and transfer from Wells to Scott?

(Wisconsin)

I have money invested with a brokerage firm. These stocks are Blue chip long term holds. I also have a Scottrade account. I have been struggling in my mine with why do I have thousands with this FIRM that bills me 2% at the end of the year for sitting on stocks that I can sit on and manage with Scott. Should I pull out and transfer from Wells to Scott?

If you feel like you can invest your money yourself then it makes sense to just invest money yourself with your own private account and save on those added expenses. Although I’m not giving any advice I don’t invest into any firms or mutual funds that charge me just for holding onto investments.
