Minimum to Open a Roth 401k

Question: I want to open a Roth IRA, what would be the minimum I would have to invest in order to start one? Thanks

Answer: The tax laws do not set a minimum investment for a Roth IRA, but individual providers may.

You can open up your account with mutual funds, brokers, or banks. Here is a short list of different brokerage accounts and their minimums.

Fidelity: $2,500 minimum or $200 minimum if you are going to make automatic deposits

Scott trade: $500 with automatic deposits

Vangard: $3,000
