Math stock round and odd lot

by Kendra

You buy 1,044 shares. The round lot is 3% and the odd lot is 4% I need the total cost, proceeds and if I will gain or lose.

So you’re saying that your broker charges you 3% of the number of shares you buy for a round lot and 4% for an odd lot? If that is the case then the round lot 1,000 shares would be $30 and the odd lot 1,044 would be $41.71.
