I am a newbie, trying to make my first steps into the stock market

I wanted to start investing $100 as a first attempt and see how it goes. Can I do something with that amount? Cause all the broker's sites ask for an initial deposit that goes over $500!
Also, what is my best option as a beginner and would love an example on call options too, with a "real case" if possible.

Thanks and the site is a great tool!

With just $100 I wouldn’t try to do anything fancy. Here is an article I wrote about how to invest $150 a month. It may just help you out.
