How Do I Sell These Shares?

hello,

my mother recently passed and unknown to me had purchased 15 shares of metlife stock in 1938. my question is, how do i go about selling them? i noticed that the stock is now worth $47.65, so would that mean 15 shares at $47.65?

thanks for your time
cheers

You can always open up a trading account and send the certificate to the account. Then you can sell the stock in that account and do whatever you want with the money.

I believe Zecco.com lets you open up an account with $0.
