How do I get a tick by tick historical chart

by mark colen sucker

This morning I placed a stop order on a short buy to cover( AMD). The broker executed the order although the stock price never appeared to approach the stop price. How do I get a tick by tick historical chart

This is not the first time and I feel that my huge broker cheats on many trades. Any ideas?

If you wanted to get a tick by tick chart for a stock you can do so by visiting this page.

Make sure that the chart is at the 1 day chart. I can't imagine why you got stopped out. AMD didn't really make any big upward movements. Are you sure you placed a stop order and not a market order?

If it where me I would look at the chart and if I couldn't see why the order was filled call the broker and ask them.

Get a new broker. If you have having trouble with your broker then maybe it is time to move on.

I use thinkorswim myself and I have not had any problems with them exicuting my trades early.

Here is a list of brokers you might want to look into if you go that route.
