Can I Sell My Stock?

by John
(Melbourne, Florida)

I have 82,000 shares of CHTRQ (Charter Communications) stock. The company recently came out of bankruptcy and in my trade account the stock shows a value of 800 dollars. Can I sell it?

That sounds like there was a technical glitch. The stock went from being worth a few cents, to $0 to $800 overnight? I would call your broker for more information.

Or you could try to sell it see if it goes through, maybe you got lucky. But I can't pull up the chart so it sounds like it is a glitch in their system.
