How to Win Friends and Influence People Review

WOW! What an amazing book, How to Win Friends and Influence People brings to light the need for what all of us know which is treat others as you would have them treat you. He gives examples of high level people and cases in which they treated people with respect, got their point across and received the results they wanted. This book should be mandatory reading for all leaders, managers and supervisors!

This book is a must read for anyone wanting to improve their relationship with family, friends, co-workers, potential clients, just people in general. It shows you how to be tactful in difficult and stressful situations.

How this book will help me is countless. I love the chapter on how to use encouragement to get the result you want. This is perfect for parenting and people management. Then the chapter on saving face – every manager could use this advice! We live in a very demanding, high stress and challenging world. It would be more delightful if everyone used the techniques and strategies in this book. Just imagine how the relationships would change and employees who actually love coming to work!

One suggestion I would give the author is to not repeat the examples, tends to get monotonous. This book is an easy read. You will be amazed when you start changing how you relate to others in just a short time. It will make you a better person if used correctly.
